First you need to know how to calculate the CBD potency per dose. CBD product labels only tell you the total CBD potency in the bottle or entire packaged product. What you really need to know is how strong is one dosage of this particular product.
To make this task easier for you, we have done the calculation for you and included it in the description of the product. But, to calculate it for yourself, this is how it is done: take the total number of milligrams in the packaged product (for example, a bottle of 30 soft gels labeled 300 mg) and divide this by the number of doses in the package. Using our example, the computation would be 300 mg total/30 soft gels in the bottle = 10 mg per dose.
Almost all of the products in this SHOP contain 0.3% THC. No product contains more than this amount, and only one product (for humans) contains zero (0) % THC. (There are several CBD products for pets that do not contain any THC.) This amount of THC means that you will not experience any psychotropic effects from any of our products (i.e, you won’t “get high”). However, products with 0.3% THC will often test positive for THC during a drug test. If you undergo drug testing, it is wise to use an isolate product with NO THC. Here’s a product for you: Green Roads Crystal Dabs.
How does CBD work? What does it do to my body?
There are cannabinoids in our body (primarily our nervous system) that interact with CB1 and CB2 receptors. These receptors keep our bodies in balance and help regulate things like mood, appetite, sleep, stress, blood pressure, cognition, motor control, motivation, pain and other functions. If our endocannabinoid system isn’t working properly, we need external cannabinoids to aid. Hemp has phytocannabinoids (plant-based cannabinoids) which can go to work to re-balance our bodies. (FDA DISCLAIMER: These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.) While the FDA has no evaluated or endorsed CBD’s effects on the body, it is interesting that the United States holds a patent on medical applications of CBD.
The US Patent covers the following potential medical applications of CBD:
Antioxidant properties: treatment and prevention of stroke, age-related, inflammatory, and autoimmune diseases.
Neuroprotectants: limiting neurological damage after stroke and trauma or in the treatment of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and HIV dementia.
